NRA BASIC HANDGUN CERTIFICATION
West Manchester Township Farmers & Sportsman Association
Course Description:
This course is designed for the handgun beginner and is the first step for future NRA certified handgun courses. The focus will be on all aspects of safe gun handling and basic shooting skills.
All students will be required to interact during classroom instruction and training scenarios. Shooting will be required for each student to illustrate their ability to safely handle, load and shoot a handgun.
Class will be held to a maximum of 10 students. Registration will be on a first come first served basis.

Date: 4/11/15 (rain or shine) Time: 8:00am until 5:00 pm
Cost: $125 (non-members) $100 (members) payable to WMTFSA, (mailed to Brian Kimball @ 6245 Salem Run Rd. Dover, PA. 17315. Payment as soon as possible to reserve your class. (first come, first served)
No refund will be given unless another student can fill the position.

Things to Bring to class:
Handgun (Revolver or Semi-auto) (Any caliber)
100 rounds minimum of ammunition.
Eye protection (Must have while on the range)
Ear protection (Must have while on the range)
Clothing suitable for the current weather conditions. Coats, hat, boots etc.
Personal identification
Side holster (not mandatory) No horizontal shoulder holsters permitted.
Gun cleaning equipment
Paper and pencil
No ammunition or loaded firearm permitted in the classroom at any time. Ammunition must be kept in your vehicle until the class moves to the outdoor shooting range.
Agenda:
8:00am: Introductions and course overview
8:30am: Class room instructions
Noon: Lunch
1:00pm: Continue Class room instructions and shooting range requirements.
2:00pm: Shooting range demonstration and student shooting
3:30pm: General discussion and review followed by test
5:00pm: Class dismissed
